Slap Chop Reviews

I am a big fan of cooking. It's kind of stereotypical of guys that we do not like to be in the kitchen, and we definitely do not like to cook, but that stereotype has just never applied to me. I love cooking just about anything I can figure out in under an hour. For Christmas my wife bought me the Slap Chop, and there has not been one meal where I haven't used it. This Slap Chop Review might convince you that it is a great product that really works well.

The Slap Chop is marketed by the Sham Wow guy, and while I find those commercials extremely cheesy, the products he markets are actually pretty good. The Slap Chop is a tool where you place things like onions, garlic, or nuts inside of a cup that is attached to the Slap Chop, and then you slap the top of the Slap Chop down, and blades come down chopping the contents of the cup. This has saved me countless minutes of extra work chopping and mincing. It's great because I may say the only thing I cry about is football, but onions take me down. The Slap Chop eliminates that embarrassment because it doesn't expose the onions to the air during chopping.

I also don't have to worry about whether or not I'm getting all the “green stuff” small enough so that my four year old doesn't notice it. He doesn't like celery, lettuce, green peppers, or any other leafy green health food. So with the Slap Chop I can easily get all of those foods small enough so that they almost disappear into a casserole. He gets the nutrition I'm worried about without the argument. After seeing the commercial with the guy and his auctioneer voice I have to say that I was sold.

However I know that often As Seen On T.V. Stuff comes made with super cheap plastic and blades that are dull and impossible to sharpen. So I hit Google and find that they have a deluxe order option that gives me a 10 year guarantee, the blades are switch with Japanese Blades and I get a free folding cutting board. I was ecstatic. Not only did I get a Slap Chop that took a lot less time chopping but also allowed me to be more in control of how fine or coarsely I chopped but I also got superior blades and a sweet little folding cutting board to cut it all on. I ordered quicker than that guy can say Slap Chop. I sincerely love this product and can't wait to see what they come out with next.
